Shame, I am sure my Mum would have loved £10's worth of Fairy Liquid for Mothers Day. Well I will have to go down the Old Spice route instead for my dear old Uncle.... which he will re wrapp and give me back at Christmas.

:D

I remember when I moved out of the family home my Dad gave me boxes and boxes of Old Spice to take with me! I ended up using it as loo disinfectant.

Has anyone ever met anybody who actually LIKES the stuff?!

Brilliant, I just bought my husband a new gillette razor the other day and I have found the receipt in the bin. £11 spent, enough for a pin! Thanks for posting.

Noel, my Grandad liked Old Spice, but then he also used Brylcreem!

The Brylcreem bounce..... that reminds me of my dear old Dad. He also loved his Pre Electric Saver old spice.

What lives at the bottom of the sea, and is timid, green and has a big hairy tash ?

A MILD GREEN HAIRY LIP SQUID !

Those of you who don't get it must be too young to remember the add

just got back from buying things that I don't need , have ordered some pins and now think I will use all the cleaning products purchased to give the bathroom the once over. or maybe I will sit in front of the telly and munch my way thru the Pringles.... that are also included in the offer.

Mikeyboy said...

Thank goodness for Pringles! For those batchelor-pad dwellers amongst us it's the only P&G product that we'll realistically get round to using. Perhaps!

Yes if you are feeling peckish it is either Pringles or IAMS Cat food... add in a takeaway pizza and you have what can be found in the average student flat up and down the country.

I think that Cadburys should do the same thing, I can't think of anyone not wanting to chomp their way thru 15 bars of Fruit and Nut just to get a FREE Cadbury Pin badge.

Never tried Iams, but being so dry it might be useful for soaking up the beer on a Saturday night.

My daughter has just bought a load of Pampers, so I have enough for two pins :)

i'm amazed coke havent used a similar promotion seeing as they have the coke zone platform to do it with so easily.
perhaps they will do it at christmas to get rid of all the retail pins they have left over

Don't worry - no doubt the ebayer we all love to hate will soon have some for sale at a crazy price

i certainly plan to! but then again, thats because i got off my backside and applied for some rather than sitting here moaning about it. maybe you should try it?

not at all, just getting a little fed up with getting nibbled at by people who arent even brave enough to say who they are.
i dont have exclusive rights to ebay, anyone is entitled to use or not use it as they please.
indeed, i would say a large majority of the pin collecting community use it either as a buyer or as a seller, or both.
if you choose not to, terrific, thats your decision, just as it is mine to use it to sell (and buy) on. i dont judge you for your decisions, so please find something more constructive to do with your time than judge me for mine. thanks

Personally I assumed it was aimed at our Canadian friend but perhaps mr anonymous will tell us otherwise :)

Acer said...

I am thinking you all know who this was aimed at probably because most of
you have purchased stuff from this ebay seller. If I used ebayuk I would probably do likewise.

Selling These Pins on EBAY.... what is the problem with that ? You have 2 choices. 1 Spend money on stuff that you need, or will need and get a free pin Or 2 Buy one on EBAY. Both work for me. If it was a case of Buying 50 tins of Cat Food to get a PIN (even though you did not have a pussy or a JINX !) would you do it or would you buy it from a cat owning ebayer instead. Option 2 would be my choice.

I just received my first pin from P&G - the team GB pin, and I have to say that I am very pleased with it and they sent it superfast - a nice pin.
IT's a shame that they weren't more helpful earlier in the year when I asked for a 1ytg pin and was completely fobbed off, but you can't win 'em all I guess. I just need some more receipts now to get the Irish pin :)

Anyone want some spare Duracell batteries or Pringles?

wookie said...

No just send me the receipts :)

Pippin said...

Duracell batteries are BOGOF at Tesco right now, so you can save money and get a "half price" pin badge too.
