Some of you may know that one online retailer launched the Paralympic Closing Ceremony pin yesterday and then marked it as out of stock soon afterwards.
Therefore it has been decided to allow all retailers to issue this pin, although WHEN it is available is up to each retailer.
I suggest therefore you check out your favourite sources to see who has started to sell the pin.

I've just seen that Glamorous Living are launching theirs on 1st September.
It's very helpful that Glamorous Living let us know when they will be putting this pin on sale - so much easier than monitoring the website for days and still missing out, like with the official shop. I'll actually be at the paralympics at 10am on Saturday though so no pin buying for me - although the paralympics will probaby be good too!

Let's just hope that all retail sellers limit them to a maximum of three per customer. Otherwise you know what will happen.

Just found out that Glam and a few other retailers are going to limit how many each person can buy. Great news. Shame they never did that at the official megastore in the olympic park.
Anyone know what time they go on sale on Glam? will it be at midnight or do they list as sensible times?

The glam stars have already put them up tonight. Both opening and closing paralympic pins are available. Good luck. You can't buy lots limited per customer which will please most of us enable collectors to get and not pay silly prices on eBay for them.

They're on the page which contains all the London pins. I've just bought my Closing Ceremony pin.

That's odd. I've just ordered mine too. It says on one page that the pins are launching 10am on Saturday 1st September but if you click on the link that says "click here for the full range", they are right at the bottom of that page next to the opening ceremony pin. But it has a picture of one of the Theatre pins as its image. I hope it's not an error but it let me place an order.
The image has now been updated to the correct picture. Hmmm...

Nicole that's normal then the other receipt comes when they are despatched.and PayPal email saying despatched also. Glam stars are an official online site for selling.
They have removed them now from bottom of the page on glam site
Sounds like they were preparing their site for tomorrow but a few observant members here were watching and got wind of what was happening. Very good of them to honour the lucky ones who placed an order this evening.
Does anyone know when Pins and Things go live with their sales? It says 'out of stock' at the moment rather than 'Sold Out' so I'm guessing they've just added the products in anticipation of going live.

Ha ha, the amount of paralympics OC pins on ebay not selling or selling for less than £22 each makes me very happy, as all those who jumped on the ebay bandwagon will be left with handfuls of the pins or forced to sell closer to what the retail price was.
The greed to make excess profit on these pins has taken the good spirit and fun away for genuine collectors. And the irony of the POC pins is that they have flooded the ebay market and become less desirable...and what everyone now wants is the Olympics OC pin which is much more valuable. Because the OOC pins are in the hands of genuine collectors or Olympic fans so there are very few spares to sell. I will certainly never sell my OOC pin, even if it becomes worth over £200.
Let the pin collecting, trading and buying return to the hands of the true fans.
Extremely disappointed with quality of closing ceremony pin mandeville is printed and when mine arrived the print was missing.also didn't like much smaller than OCP poor value nice momento to add to my collection but not one of honav better pins especially for the price. Agree anonymous would never sell any of my pins proud of my collection also agree re let pin collecting, trading and buying return to the hands of true fans.

I think the Coca Cola opening and closing Paralympic badges are disappointing. Not as colourful as their Olympic equivalents. Doesn't look as though a great deal of thought went into those.
