27/7: Shop at St. Pancras

I went along to the opening of the St. Pancras shop today. All in all an excellent new source of 2012 merchandise. They seem to have lots of the existing items and a new range of clothing too.

Chris, the manager, was very helpful, so I recommend you get down there when you have the chance.

Here are some photos of the shop exterior and interior as well as Boris Johnson and Lord Coe's speeches.

This is just a flavour, there's more shelving with polo shirts, rugbys, tees etc. as well as gifts, keyrings and the like.

Great coverage of the new store Paul.
This is the best I have seen so far including from the official sites.

I know the Mandeville poster will be releaed 2 years from the Paralympic date which is a couple of weeks away, so I think there is also a Mandeville pin to mark the occassion as well.

The Wenlock Mascot Pin was added to the store late in the day after openning.

I'd love to know who's job it was to supply those giant scissors to cut the ribbon that didnt work. Someone from LOCOG had better stick to making cups of tea after that epic fail.

Thanks for the comment. You're right, they have a Mandeville launch on 29/8. There was a Wenlock poster available to buy and on show by the tills.
