12/2: New McDonald's Pin

Last week, the Olympic volunteer programmer held it's first induction briefing for the first 10,000 Gamesmakers. The training of the volunteers if being carried out in part by McDonald's and there were reports of some McDonald' representatives wearing a silver pin.

WWL-MCD0005
I believe this is the pin in question and combines a silver London 2012 logo including coloured Olympic rings with the McDonald's name (but not the logo).

I have been told that the issue size for this pin is 200 pieces but need to confirm that. If it's true, that would make this an internal only pin. I'm reliably informed that there were no pins on offer at the Gamesmaker event.

It certainly looks like the pin I saw last week at Wembley, and I got a very close look at it. However, I don't recall the Olympic Rings being coloured!

I was told by a member of the McDonald's UK Olympic team that this is an issue of 250, however, I believe it may only be that the UK got only 250 of a larger issue. I am following this up. The rings are coloured on this pin but there will be another UK pin issued, the design is being finalised now but it may be the same as this or without colour in the rings.
On another track, has anyone seen the new Proctor and Gamble pin for 'Moms'? Same basic design with scroll on top.

I finally got my McDonald's pin badge yesterday from the staff I met during volunteer training at Wembley Arena back in February.

The Olympic rings are coloured, but they are not quite as bold as seen in the photograph.
